Our Classes
From toddler first steps to kindergarten graduation — we have a classroom ready.
Our programs encourage hands-on participation to encourage the full development of every child — physically, academically, emotionally, and socially. This hands-on approach is developed through learning centers which assist the teacher in creating challenging educational experiences for the child.
Music class, gym class and Zumba, field trips, arts and crafts, computers, language arts, science, games, and stories are an essential part of all our programs. From our toddlers to our kindergarteners, Good Day offers our students a variety of programs that outshine other schools!
Ages 1 – 2.5
Toddler
A warm, gentle start
Our toddler program began in 2020 and has grown ever since! Our 1–2 year olds fit right into the class and are kept busy playing and learning each day. They work on gross motor skills, potty training and learning the routine of school. Toddlers receive a strong foundation in a loving environment at Good Day — they achieve small steps toward personal growth, which leads to a seamless step-up transition to our preschool program.
Ages 2½ – 3
Preschool
2 or 3 half-days (AM or PM) · Full day option
Taught by Miss Janet (Half Day) and Miss Chris (Full Day). The class offers children an introduction to school focused around a basic knowledge of the letters of the alphabet, colors, shapes and numbers. We also focus on large and fine motor skills as well as promoting positive social interactions. Other activities include art, computers and learning stations. Half Day is 2½ hours with snack included; Full Day runs 7:15 AM – 5:00 PM.
Ages 4 – 5
Pre-Kindergarten
2 or 3 half-days (AM or PM) · Full day option
Taught by Miss Patty (Half Day) and Miss Jeni (Full Day). This class is for children who will be entering Kindergarten the following school year. The program includes pre-reading and writing skills, plus math, science, and social studies topics. Other activities include art, computers and learning stations, with positive peer interactions stressed throughout the day. Half Day is 3 hours with snack included; Full Day runs 7:15 AM – 5:00 PM.
Ages 5 – 6
Kindergarten
Full day · Academic focus
Our full-day Kindergarten is an academically focused class taught by Miss Cheryl. Our structured program covers all subject areas including math, science, social studies, and phonics — which includes reading and writing. Students graduate well prepared for a seamless transition to First Grade. Gym and music classes are included weekly. Morning and afternoon snacks provided (parents supply lunch). Instructional hours 8:30 AM – 3:00 PM; extended hours 7:15 AM – 5:00 PM available.
