PRE-SCHOOL: 2 OR 3 HALF DAYS

Our 2/12-3 year preschool program is taught by Miss Janet and a teacher’s assistant.  It offers children an introduction to school focused around a basic knowledge of the letters of the alphabet, colors, shapes and numbers.  We also focus on large and fine motor skill as well as promoting positive social interactions between preschool classmates and their peers.  Other activities include art, computers and learning stations.  This class is a 2 ½ hour class with snack included. 

PRE-KINDERGARTEN: 2 OR 3 HALF DAYS

The 4 year old Pre-Kindergarten program is taught by Miss Patty and a teacher’s assistant.  This program promotes a firm understanding of the skills and knowledge needed for Kindergarten.  This class focuses on pre-reading and writing skills as well as topics in the subject areas of math, science and social studies.  Other activities include art, computers and learning stations.  Positive social interactions amongst peers are stressed during the three hours of learning.  A snack is provided as well. 

KINDERGARTEN: FULL DAY

Our full day Kindergarten class is taught by Miss Cheryl and a teacher’s assistant.  Our structured program teaches all subject areas including math, science, social studies and phonics.  We also have gym and music class weekly.  A morning and afternoon snack is provided as well.  Parents must supply lunch.

FULL DAY PROGRAM

The full day program is taught by Miss Jeni and 2 teacher’s assistants.  This class is a multi-aged group of children between 2 ½ and 4 years old.  This program consists of age appropriate activities including but not limited to pre-reading and writing skills as well as topics in the subject areas of math, science and social studies.  Other activities include art, computers and learning stations.  Positive social interactions amongst peers are stressed during the entire learning day.  A morning and afternoon snack is provided as well.  Parents must supply lunch. 

Our programs encourage hands-on participation to encourage the full development of every child physically, academically, emotionally, and socially. This hands-on approach is developed through learning centers which assist the teacher in creating challenging educational experiences for the child. Skills and strategies are developed that are necessary for a successful and confident student.

Reading First, music class, gym class, field trips, arts and crafts, computers, language arts, science, games, and stories are an essential part of all our programs.

Our programs include the development of good listening skills, manipulative skills and language development and readiness skills as well as seasonal programs and community.
